Carrying Your Faith Into Everyday Life
When we think about faith, it's easy to picture a church, a quiet prayer, or a Sunday morning.
But faith doesn't stop there.
It follows us into classrooms...
onto hospital floors...
into offices...
and sometimes, onto a football field in Spain.
Recently, my nephew shared a short video with me.
Before you continue reading, take a moment to watch it.
What caught my attention wasn't the goals, the competition, or the game itself.
It was the simple messages woven throughout the video.
Listen to God.
Follow Your Dream.
He Guides You.
Trust the Process.
Watching it reminded me that faith isn't something we practice only on Sundays.
It's something we carry into every ordinary moment of life.
For an athlete, that might mean stepping onto the field with confidence, discipline, and trust.
For someone else, it might mean walking into a hospital for another shift, studying late for an exam, raising a family, starting a business, or simply facing another Monday morning.
The places may look different.
The challenges certainly do.
But the invitation is always the same:
Trust God.
Walk faithfully.
Keep moving forward.
One of my favorite verses says:
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight."
— Proverbs 3:5–6
That verse doesn't promise an easy journey.
It promises that we don't have to walk it alone.
